Hooded jacket with a loose, slightly cropped fit. Self-lined front and hood, enlarged slot buttons threaded onto seatbelt tape, slashed pockets that extend from the armholes. Made of 100% Giza cotton. Dry, matte handle. Developed by the British Air Force in the late 19th century, the design of this cloth was later recommissioned in Japan by the Japanese Coast Guard. Superfine yarn is woven at maximum density, when exposed to water the yarns swell, becoming impermeable and waterproof without the use of any coatings. Lightweight and breathable, suitable for year-round wear.
